Feng Shui and Property
♫ Wednesday, April 27th, 2011There is a great crowd moving towards the auditorium, and the audience brought along their laptop or notebooks to take notes from the important speaker that day. It was not their company’s CEO, neither was it their Chief Financial Controller. The important speaker of the day was a Feng Shui Master. Feng Shui has always been an attractive and mysterious business when it comes to properties. Most buyers will take on the basics of property Feng Shui when they look for new investments or a new home to move to. Some of the general tips include a house with its front facing the sea and the back against a mountain, and to avoid a house directly facing a T-junction.
Some owners might even consult a Feng Shui Master to help them determine whether to buy a house, and if they already bought it, how they should renovate the house to bring out the best of the home to bring prosperity to its owners. The Feng Shui Master then proceeds to ask for the birth dates and other details of the people staying in the house, and then checking on the house with a traditional luopan to see the compatibility of the owners to the location. If you are one of those who do not wish to engage in a Feng Shui Master, you may use some simple logic to help you. One of the first things you will wish to take note on is the colours of your wall. Feng Shui Masters advise against dark colours as they supposedly bring bad luck to you eventually, but by simple logic, dark colours may suppress your feelings and bring your mood down. So, do get some bright colours such as white or yellow, and these will lift your moods up anytime.
Other than this, you might also want to ensure that there are no odd-shaped items in your interiors. By logical thinking, it will potentially cause injury if you bump into them accidentally. Neither will you want to put anything in front of your door, which means obstructing your walkway. Sometimes, Feng Shui is just logical thinking and common sense. Just decorating your home with lovely and safe furnishing will give you a lot of peace and good luck for a long time. Comfort is the key ingredient to an excellent home.
